Look at him. What a young innocent, eh?
Born and bred
in South East London, Christopher Liam Cooper (informally known to friends
as Coopsy, Coop or just Cooper) has worked his way up from nothing to little
more than nothing in just 15 years.
His only notable skills are writing, drawing and performing, which are about
as much use in an office job as he is - so not much, then.
He keeps a self portrait in his attic which to this day remains youthful and
fair, while his physical aspect continues to degenerate rather unjustly.
Performing
under the psuedonym of Liam Cooper, for various legal reasons too convoluted
to explain here, he has been writing and performing comedy since an early
age.
Branded the 'King of Corn' during his school days (and still bearing the scars
from that hot iron - it was a tough school), he has endeavoured to surprise
no-one with his dark brand of toilet humour and excesive use of gurning.
As
Liam, he has performed in sketch shows across London, played Darth Vader as
a terribly bad landlord at the Edinburgh Fringe, created a popular if unpleasant
stand-up persona as Algernon 'Nobby' Burke, and appeared in a 'moving picture'
as a zombie.
Writing and illustrating as Christopher,
he currently creates 'Things to do with a Defeated Enemy' for BBC Magazine's
'Doctor Who Adventures' comic, following on from three years cartooning
for Lastminute.com.
He is also working on new sketch show and sitcom concepts for stage and screen.
